Just want to make a quick one-time donation so you can get back to binging Netflix? As a staff of introverts we totally get it! You can make a donation below and we promise not to show up in your inbox uninvited (except to thank you!) and we’ll get busy putting your donation to work.

In addition to the secure, fast, and easy ways that you can donate online, The Order is honored to accept your gift made by personal check. Please send checks made out to the Good Death Foundation to:

You can make a donation from your Donor Advised Fund by selecting ‘DAF’ as your payment method. You can also contact Ericka Cameron at ericka@orderofthegooddeath.com to arrange to mail a paper check.

Your special days can help create a more meaningful, eco-friendly, and equitable future of death.

Ask your friends and family to make a donation to The Order—for your birthday, anniversary, or in honor of someone special.

You have many options; the best one for you will depend on your circumstances. Listing The Order as a beneficiary of your retirement or insurance plan is one route. Or you could establish a gift tied to your estate, a life income gift, or even a charitable lead trust.

Should you decide to list The Order in your will, you can use the following language:

I hereby give, devise and bequeath _______________ and No/100 dollars ($DOLLARS) to Good Death Foundation (DBA The Order of the Good Death), a nonprofit organization located at 4470 W Sunset BLVD Suite #107, PMB #99107, Los Angeles, CA 90027, Federal Tax ID #82-3964819, for Good Death Foundation’s general use and purpose.

If you choose to list The Order as a beneficiary or establish a post-mortem gift, please reach out to us so we can appropriately thank you.

If you are over the age of 70 ½ years, you can make a donation from your traditional IRA account of up to $100,000 without incurring federal income tax on the withdrawal. To make this type of donation, contact your IRA administrator and instruct that person to transfer funds to The Order of the Good Death. If you go this route please contact Ericka at ericka@orderofthegooddeath.com so we can identify your gift and properly thank you.

If you have airline miles accumulated, we gratefully accept donations in the form of airline vouchers. Please contact Ericka Cameron at ericka@orderofthegooddeath.com to make arrangements.

Many employers offer a workplace giving program that will match your donation, effectively doubling the total donation.
